arctic zero: the ultimate ice cream for all you bingers

If you already couldn't tell, I have a sweet tooth, a HUGE one. Put me in front of a bucket of ice cream and I will eat it, most of it at that! And I'm totally speaking from experience, because this really happened to me yesterday. Feeling all run-down guilty, I looked up healthier alternatives to satisfy my cravings and put an end to these ice cream binges. Lo and behold: Arctic. Zero.

150 calories per pint, what?!

I purchased this at my local Ralph's for about $4.99 per pint, which yes is on the pricier side but so worth it if you're really looking into maintaining a low caloric intake (this whole pint is only 150 calories!). So you can imagine my excitement as I was walking home from the store because once I got back, I instantly popped the lid off and indulged myself to a spoonful of ice cream -hence, the half eaten tub before actually taking any pictures, oops.

Topped with some of Trader Joe's Coconut Flakes and almonds = Heaven

The verdict? It doesn't taste like your average ice cream, so don't expect it to. It actually has a more creamy almost yogurt-like texture, which I wasn't sure if I really liked initially... but after a few more bites, I started to appreciate it more and more. Plus it's not as sweet as most ice creams, which I think is great! I don't want to be drowning myself in a tub full of sugar anyways.

So glad I made this discovery,  I think I can die happy now.

See you all in ice cream heaven,
Theresa
